Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Bloomington, MN to support accounting operations across multiple entities and play a key role in the month-end close. This full-time hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, A/P and A/R processing, and support for audits and year-end activities.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
• Prepare daily/weekly borrowing base, collateral, and inventory reports
• Perform multi-entity GL and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process A/P, vendor invoices, payments, A/R, invoicing, collections, and cash application
• Lead the annual 1099 process, including W-9 verification and filing
• Support external audits and prepare requested schedules/documentation
• Review account coding and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting
