Job summary

Child & Family Guidance Center is recruiting an Accountant for the North Texas clinics. The Accountant analyzes complex financial records, reconciling input, invoices, and transactions to prepare financial statements and reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of general ledger experience, strong Excel skills (SAGE, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and QuickBooks knowledge. The position is hybrid, with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and GAAP knowledge required.
• 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GL account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet/income statement reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Analyze GL accounts and budget-to-actual reports as directed by CFO.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with the external audit.
• Improve accounting systems and reports for management.
