Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support accounting operations for a client in the Fairfax, VA area. This contract to hire opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 days in the office each week.

The role requires strong general ledger knowledge, full-cycle accounting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee AP/AR, GL maintenance, close processes, inventory and job cost accounting, contract billing,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support contract setup, job cost accounting, and contract billing within the ERP system.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, customer invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain inventory records, conduct periodic reconciliations, and assist with tax documentation.
• Supervise and guide one Staff Accountant; review work for accuracy and deadlines.
