Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is partnering with Kiwa America is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to be part of the accounting team supporting accounting across multiple businesses.

This role will primarily support NQA US, providing broad accounting support in partnership with the Controller. The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Experience preparing reconciliations and journal entries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Perform account, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Owns month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and financial reporting.
• Analyze account variances and prepare supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Document accounting processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and stronger internal controls.
• Support annual internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, Treasury, and Operations, to support Finance initiatives.
• Provide flexible accounting support based on evolving business needs.
