Job summary

BTBK Accounting Services LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting function, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide financial insights for strategic decisions. The role involves leadership, mentoring junior staff, and driving process improvements in a hybrid-remote environment with a Madison office.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, 2+ in senior roles, strong proficiency in Restaurant366 and Excel, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, including 2+ in a senior/supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Restaurant366 and Excel; strong GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting with analysis to support strategic planning.
• Lead month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits; ensure timely information.
