Talentify in Mission Viejo, CA seeks a Sr. Accountant to manage technical accounting in a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week. The role pays $48-$52 per hour and runs through 01/25/2027, with conversion to a permanent position possible.

Responsibilities include preparing statements, GL reconciliations, audit coordination, and supporting budgets while applying GAAP and statutory accounting principles.

Formación

• 4+ years of accounting experience including lead/training roles.
• GAAP and statutory accounting knowledge.
• Proficient with spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/remote environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complex professional accounting work and prepare financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Ensure timely posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger.
• Prepare work papers, financial statements, and reports for internal accounting and auditing.
• Analyze fluctuations vs prior year/month and budgeted amounts.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, coding, and training of staff.
