Our company, a leader in the Accounting + Finance industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of a work-from-home structure combined with in-person meetings and collaboration. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling accounting for multiple entities, ensuring no two days are the same and providing an exciting, fast-paced working environment. The role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience and familiarity with SAGE 300 or equivalent software.

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department for multiple entities.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Handle monthly reporting duties, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate.Record and analyze the company's financial information.
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and other financial forecasts.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core staff expense reports, cash control, and total corporate payroll.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Proficiency in SAGE 300 or equivalent accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
