Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting in Florida seeks a Senior Accountant I to support association accounting, ensure accrual-based financial reporting, and maintain tight timeliness on deliverables during 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with possible extensions.

You will handle monthly close, bank reconciliations, and financial packages, collaborating with field and corporate staff, and reporting to the Director of Association Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with major in Accounting.
• 3 to 5 years work experience in related field.
• Knowledge of accrual based accounting.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts for assigned associations.
• Prepare the Financial Package by deadlines including Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
• Reconcile each Balance Sheet line item and maintain supporting schedules.
• Ensure accrual basis presentation in financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax accountant for annual processes.
• Manage monthly, annual tasks including budgets, reserves, and special assessments.
