Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Clearwater area to join a growing finance team. The role partners with the Controller and leadership, handling day-to-day accounting, reporting, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on Excel proficiency. Opportunity for growth and exposure to ERP implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience researching and resolving complex accounting and inventory transaction issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and generate financial reports.
• Analyze inventory activity and support process improvements and controls.
• Support sales tax filings, 1099 processing, and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with payroll, treasury, cash management, and banking activities.
• Provide backup support across AP/AR and participate in ERP initiatives.
