LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant in Jacksonville, FL to support accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and month-end close. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and a proactive mindset for process improvements.

The Senior Accountant will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial statements, assist with audits, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
• Experience with monthly and year-end close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, analytics).
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead key components of monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with audits.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory processes.
• Develop reporting tools and provide financial insights for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
