Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing organization to identify a talented Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional business support.

You will lead and support close activities, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, analyze results, and mentor junior staff while partnering with Finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
• Experience in construction, field services, installation, or project accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Analyze financial results and provide variance analyses.
• Support audits, internal controls, and compliance efforts.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and business leaders on projects and reporting initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiencies across accounting functions.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
