Job summary

Great Northern Corporation is hiring a Senior Accountant to support the Controller in GAAP accounting practices and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will prepare financial statements, manage cost and transactional accounting, and help ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have a thorough understanding of and practical experience in sales tax, transactional accounting, cost accounting, inventories and computerized accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in senior level accounting practices in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and timeliness ensure financial statements are accurate and complete.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
