AccruePartners seeks a Senior Accountant in Charlotte, NC to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support timely consolidated financial reporting. You will collaborate with AP, AR, and payroll to meet close deadlines and report to the Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Intermediate Excel and ERP experience; Salesforce/Certinia a plus.
• Experience with multi-state, PE-backed, high-growth organization.
• Professional, eager and well-spoken.
• Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
• Deadline-driven: ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and Adaptability.
• Strong financial and analytical ability and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts daily/weekly/monthly as needed to support the consolidated financial reporting needs of the organization.
• Analyze expense variances.
• Prepare and record UKG payroll journals, inventory cycle count journals, and certain expense allocations.
• Maintain Sales Tax compliance with Avalara.
• Maintain lease accounting (finance and operating leases).
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts.
• Research accounting inquiries from CFO, Controller, and Operation Managers as needed.
• Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP.
• Support purchase acquisition accounting, integrations, and post-close clean-up.
• Assist with audit, tax, and lender reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with all business teams to resolve challenges in a timely manner.
