Job summary

LHH is assisting in the search for a direct hire Senior Accountant to join a national organization in the professional services industry located in the Sandy Springs vicinity. This role offers growth opportunities and a generous compensation and benefits package.

The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, prepare financial statements, perform P&L analysis, and reconcile ledgers, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting for a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or Finance/Business Administration) preferred.
• 4+ years of recent, full-cycle accounting experience.
• Excel proficiency including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.
• Experience with Sage and/or NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month end close.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Perform P&L analysis.
• Make journal entries.
• Reconcile bank and credit card activity.
• Record accruals.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet.
