Job summary

Native American Community Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage month-end and year-end journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll support. The role also assists grants accounting, invoicing, and preparing financial reports and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years in accounting, strong Excel and Sage experience, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and two to four years related experience.
• Accounting software (Sage) proficiency and payroll systems experience.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts journal entries to the General Ledger for multiple accounts.
• Performs monthly reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts.
• Supports bi-weekly payroll processing, including hours, wages and deductions.
• Assists grants accounting with monthly reports and grant tracking.
• Maintains vendor 1099s and processes AP/ EFTs; backup for check runs.
• Keeps financial records organized and prepares annual budget/audit support.
