Job summary

Nike Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in Beaverton, OR to join the Global SG&A Accounting team. You will support monthly and quarterly close, work with Operations, Procurement, and Global Finance teams, and help strengthen accounting policies and controls.

The role requires a CPA or equivalent and at least 3 years of accounting experience within a large, multinational company or public accounting. Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, technical accounting, or related fields.
• Understanding of US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Ensure SG&A policy and process governance with related controls.
• Communicate financial implications of SG&A spend to partners and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and reporting with cross-functional teams.
