Job summary

Abbott Park, IL is hiring a Senior Accountant to support the Nutrition Corporate Financial Services RTR team. You will prepare monthly consolidated reports, supervise the close process, and analyze journal entries. Proficiency with SAP and HFM, and strong Excel skills are essential.

You will liaise with FP&A and Shared Service teams, drive process improvements, and assist with audits and SOX compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years related work experience.
• SAP and HFM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages (Profit Review Package, MRP, SRP).
• Liaise with FP&A, CFS, and Americas Hub to execute close and improve processes.
• Perform ad hoc requests to increase management visibility into performance.
• Prepare analyses for CFS journal entries and assist Shared Service accounting.
• Maintain SOPs and act as SME for SAP/HFM systems.
• Utilize SAP, Cognos and HFM; work with Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Supervise transactional close for Puerto Rico entity and support SOX/audit requests.
• Complete external and internal audits and ensure internal controls compliance.
