Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages (Profit Review Package, MRP, SRP).
• Liaise with FP&A, CFS, and Americas Hub to execute close and improve processes.
• Perform ad hoc requests to increase management visibility into performance.
• Prepare analyses for CFS journal entries and assist Shared Service accounting.
• Maintain SOPs and act as SME for SAP/HFM systems.
• Utilize SAP, Cognos and HFM; work with Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Supervise transactional close for Puerto Rico entity and support SOX/audit requests.
• Complete external and internal audits and ensure internal controls compliance.

As the Senior Accountant, Abbott Nutrition Corporate Financial Services (CFS) Record to Report (RTR) you will be responsible to prepare journal entries, prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages and other analysis supporting the Nutrition division; serve as liaison between our Shared Service Third Party provider, FP&A and CFS RTR; and drive process improvements. The Senior Accountant will perform accounting related work as well as financial reporting.
