Job summary

Azenta Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Global Finance team. You will support monthly reporting, audits, internal controls and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced, worldwide business.

The role offers onsite work in Burlington, MA with exposure to senior management and opportunities to leverage technology for process improvements. Requires 5+ years of experience and a CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in finance or accounting.
• CPA or CA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global Finance Team to prepare timely financial results and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors.
• Standardize recurring processes and improve data collection and reporting efficiency.
• Assist with processes, controls and SOX compliance under U.S. GAAP.
• Support cross-functional projects and project management activities.
• Prepare footnote disclosures for financial reporting.
