Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Global Finance Team in Burlington, MA, onsite four days per week. You will prepare monthly financial reporting, manage journal entries, and assist with audits and internal controls, working closely with senior management.

The role requires a bachelor's in finance or accounting with 5+ years of experience, preferably in life sciences or manufacturing, and a CPA/CA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in life sciences or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• CPA/CA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Support internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global Finance to standardize processes and leverage technology.
• Provide footnote disclosures for financial reporting.
