Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking an Accountant to join the global Finance team. You will support timely monthly reporting, assist with audits, and help strengthen internal controls while driving efficiency through technology.

You will collaborate with a world-wide team, gain exposure to senior management, and contribute to continuous process enhancements in a fast-paced life sciences environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• CPA or CA designation preferred.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in finance (or a master's with 1+ years).
• Experience in life sciences or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to understand, review and explain financial results and business drivers.
• Continual improvement mindset to drive best-in-class finance processes.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines, independently or in a team.
• Visa sponsorship will not be provided; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely financial results with insightful analysis.
• Support annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors.
• Standardize recurring processes and data collection with best practices.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of processes, controls and SOX/government reporting.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and project management activities.
• Support footnotes disclosure for general ledger accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Other responsibilities as business needs arise.

Education
