Job summary

Abbott in Lake County, IL is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the IFO International Finance team. You will review journal entries and reconciliations, drive the month-end close, and supervise third-party service providers to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to Shared Service accounting colleagues.
Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to complete monthly close.
Maintain SOPs for Shared Services and Hub activities.
Assist in training for new Shared Service activities.
Prepare analysis for journal entries and reconciliations.
Navigate SAP to view documents, run reports, and analyze data.
Complete analyses in SAP/SRM for third-party service provider accruals and prepaids.
