Job summary

Abbott in Lake County, IL is hiring a Senior Accountant to join the International Finance division. The role will serve as a liaison between the Shared Service Third Party provider, FP&A and CFS to drive process improvements and ensure timely month-end close.

The successful candidate will review journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accurate financials. The position requires a BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, 3–7 years of experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 3–7 years related work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and journal entries across SAP SRM and related systems.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with FP&A and CFS to drive process improvements and SOX compliance.
