The Accountant - Corporate Accounting position serves a critical role in providing accounting support and reporting preparation to various indirect support functions as well as assisting in complex accounting processes.
This position will be part of the Corporate Accounting group and will report to a Manager/Supervisor within the Corporate Accounting group. They will assist in the month-end close process for indirect support functions, provide reporting and forecast/budging support, and handle ad-hoc accounting requests. Additionally, the position will assist (for some, not all, of the tasks listed below) in the accounting for stock-based compensation, bonus and other compensation programs, debt, investments, derivatives, legal/environmental reserves, pensions and other retirement programs, and insurance.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Principal Accountant.
