Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage the monthly close for multiple entities, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and lead intercompany processes. The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, ERP experience with Dynamics AX, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• Preferably 6 - 10 years of progressive accounting experience in shared services, multi-entity, or corporate close environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-day monthly close calendar (D-2 through D5) across all assigned companies.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciler checklist for timely completion.
• Perform cash management, sales tax reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Process weekly payroll across multiple pay groups; allocate costs and post payroll entries.
• Maintain and update AX ERP controls and support ERP configuration.
• Prepare and reconcile annual 1099 reporting and assist domestic tax packaging.
• Lead sections of the corporate control validation process to ensure SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with AP, Payroll, Finance, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
