Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead multi-entity monthly close, reconciliations, and payroll processing for a global organization. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, SOX controls, and intercompany activities within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will bring 6–10 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and expertise with ERP systems, including Dynamics AX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance.
• MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• Typically 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-day monthly close calendar (D-2 through D5) including AP, GL close, journal entries, actuals, accruals, and prepaid amortizations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciler checklist for timely completion by controllers.
• Perform cash management and sales tax reconciliations; manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Process and post weekly payroll across multiple pay groups; allocate costs and upload payroll entries.
