Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, Nashua, NH, is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. You will perform month-end close, reconciliations, and support reporting for a global electronics connector leader.

The role requires 2–4 years in accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX). CPA is a plus; excellent communication and collaboration across departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience in public or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure policy compliance.
• Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Maintain Dynamics AX and BPC structures, reporting hierarchies, and related configurations.
• Develop, automate, and improve recurring financial reports and tools.
• Manage data transfer between Dynamics AX and BPC to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare audit documentation and assist with SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Corporate Accounting to resolve issues.

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking an Accountant to join our team located in Nashua, NH.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve outstanding items, and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
• Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX and BPC financial structures, reporting hierarchies, financial dimensions, exchange rates, and related system configurations.
• Develop, maintain, and automate recurring financial reports and reconciliation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting consistency.
• Manage the monthly transfer, validation, and reconciliation of financial data between Microsoft Dynamics AX and BPC to ensure data integrity and support month end close process.
• Prepare audit documentation and provide supporting information for internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with maintaining internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support special projects to enhance accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred
• 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience in a public accounting firm or commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems preferred
• Intermediate to advances Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
