Job summary

Responsibilities include month-end close, ledger analysis, invoicing, reconciliations, asset tracking, audits, and tax filings, with travel as needed. A Bachelor's in Accounting is required; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of US GAAP.
• FAR knowledge preferred but not required.
• Excel and Word experience required.
• Experience with a major ERP Financial Management system; Costpoint preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with operations and external vendors.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Experience with Government and Commercial Contracts required.
• Experience in a Job Cost Accounting environment strongly preferred.
• Revenue recognition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and GL analysis.
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for senior operations personnel.
• Oversee month-end customer invoicing.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Handle Fixed Asset accounting.
• Assist with year-end financial audit.
• Assist with annual budget development.
• Manage state filings and registrations.
• Prepare Sales and Property Tax returns.
• Perform special projects as directed by Controller.
• Occasional travel (<25%).
