Job summary

ImmunityBio is seeking a Senior Accountant, General Ledgers, to manage accounting policies, procedures and controls for general ledgers across the organization. On-site in El Segundo, CA or Torrey Pines, CA, you will lead monthly close, journal entries, and asset accounting while ensuring GAAP compliance.

You will prepare financial statements, support SOX controls, and partner with internal/external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with financial data analysis and reporting.
• Public company or biotech industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries/reconciliations for leases, payables, receivables, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Maintain fixed assets including acquisitions/dispositions, depreciation, and impairment reviews.
• Stay current with GAAP and assist with new guidance and policies.
• Perform variance analysis on the balance sheet and income statement.
• Support SOX compliance across accounting functions.
• Assist with internal and external audits and process improvements.
