Job summary

Trulieve, a leading company in the cannabis industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly and quarterly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will handle consolidated reporting, management analysis, and external reporting requirements with attention to detail.

The role involves supporting SEC filings, state regulatory reporting, and audit-ready documentation while improving processes and controls within US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
• At least four years of progressive accounting experience; public and corporate preferred.
• Current knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• CPA or progress toward CPA licensure is a plus.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with SAP and Workiva is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting schedules and consolidations.
• Maintain general ledger, cost centers, and accounting master data.
• Support SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and related workpapers.
• Assist with state-level cannabis regulations reporting.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation for internal/external reviews.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
