Job summary

Trulieve in Largo, FL, seeks a Director of Technical Accounting & External Reporting to lead GAAP research, SEC filings, and policy development. You will partner with finance leadership, auditors, and legal to ensure accurate, compliant disclosures and robust internal controls.

Role oversees complex transactions, consolidations, and reporting processes, driving improvements in Workiva and related systems while mentoring the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Combination of Big 4 public accounting and public company experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Workiva and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, and other SEC filings.
• Review and approve financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee XBRL tagging and SEC filing compliance.
• Manage quarterly disclosure committee and reporting processes.
• Lead accounting workstreams for acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and capital markets transactions.
