Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Senior Accountant in Colorado to help ensure the integrity of financial records and timely GAAP-compliant reporting. You will own monthly close processes and reconciliations, work on intercompany activities, and assist audits while handling fixed assets and cash management tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5+ years of experience, and strong Excel and ERP system skills. Local candidates only; salary ranges are set with DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• GAAP and accounting principles knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems (Deltek, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Prior work with multi-entity operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger.
• Lead account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
• Own monthly accruals.
• Support Intercompany Account reconciliations (record transactions, reconcile balances, resolve differences).
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files.
• Support in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Support the fixed assets function including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash management activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
