Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA (preferred).
• 5–10 years of directly related experience, manufacturing or US government contracting a plus.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Understand each entity’s financial reporting requirements and business activities.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts for accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries including accruals and adjusting entries.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Investigate variances and resolve accounting issues.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Support internal controls documentation and audits.
• Provide guidance to Finance Team and learn company software.
