Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Understanding and experience with cost accounting principles for manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software, payroll processes, MS Office and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax laws and regulations.
• Support cost accounting for manufacturing and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and implement new procedures to improve workflow.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze discrepancies.
• Support AP/AR, cash receipts, GL, payroll, census reports, and employee expenses.
