Job summary

Cambria is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure GAAP-compliant accounting procedures, partnering with operational leaders and corporate staff. The role requires strong analytical abilities and the ability to train other team members for growth within the department.

Essential duties include general ledger processing, month-end and year-end closes, reconciliations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes. Cambria offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as Senior Accountant in private or public accounting, manufacturing exposure preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite with Intermediate MS Excel, Google Suite, experience with Oracle, SAP or similar operating systems

Responsibilities

• Performs general ledger accounting including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation
• Participates in monthly and year-end close processes and assists with financial audits
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts, researches reconciling items
• Reviews revenue and expenses and identifies adjustments for proper matching
• Prepares financial statements including balance sheet and income statement
• Collaborates with operational units and finance team to understand financial data
