Job summary

Cambria is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring GAAP-compliant accounting procedures and partnering with operational leaders, corporate staff and other professionals. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and training to grow the department.

The starting salary range is $86,000–$115,000 with competitive benefits, including health and dental insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with matching, and other programs. Travel between local Cambria locations may be required.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge required.
• Experience compiling and reviewing P&L reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial results and data.
• Proven ability to build relationships with management at multiple levels.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs general ledger accounting including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation.
• Participates in month-end and year-end close; supports financial audits.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and resolves reconciling items.
• Reviews revenue and expenses and ensures proper matching.
• Prepares financial statements (balance sheet, income statement).
• Works with management to identify process or system improvements and implements them.
• Collaborates with business units to ensure accurate financial data understanding.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Trains and mentors other staff as needed.
• Participates in special projects.
