Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead key accounting functions, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and support audits. You will drive month-end close, technical accounting, and internal controls while adapting to tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP, month-end close, and internal controls knowledge.
• Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Experience with financial reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under GAAP.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation for audits.
• Manage complex general ledger activities and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
