Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Accounting & Finance team in Colorado. The role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.

Reporting to the Controller, you will manage intercompany activities, fixed assets, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Local candidates and occasional travel are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• ERP systems experience: Deltek, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP.
• Experience with multi-entity organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger.
• Lead reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
• Own monthly accruals.
• Support intercompany reconciliations (record transactions, reconcile balances, resolve differences).
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files.
• Support in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Support the fixed assets function including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash management activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
