Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to college record keeping and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance across College reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors on audits of college accounts and grants.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, fixed assets, and ledgers.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and year-end close processes.
• Assist in preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
• Analyze financial information to support budget decisions and forecasts.
• Develop procedures for the department and implement improvements.

Education
