Job summary

Uson, a premier global provider of leak testing equipment and solutions serving the medical device, automotive, EV, industrial and packaging industries, seeks a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, bank reconciliations, and financial statements. The role requires accurate GL reconciliations, journal entries, AP processing, and inventory data entry in SIMMS.

You will liaise with sites and head office, prepare variance analyses, assist year-end GAAP statements and audits, and support tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• CPA/CA/CMA is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience in private industry or public accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal financial reports for upper management review.
• Responsible for monthly GL reconciliations with supporting schedules, and related journal entries.
• Entry of source documents into the inventory control system.
• Responsible for monthly analysis and reporting.
• Liaise with various sites and other head office departments as queries may arise.
• Assist with the preparation of variance analysis on monthly/quarterly/annually basis.
• Assist with the creation of year-end GAAP financial statements.
• Support the annual financial audit.
• Prepare statutory filing and sales tax filings.
• Maintain the fixed asset accounting system.
• Support the budget process.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain the chart of accounts.
• Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required.
