Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions seeks an Accountant III to perform professional accounting duties, including month-end close, variance analysis, and audit support for indirect departments.

You will prepare multi-year plans and forecasts, manage budgets for indirect costs, reconcile balance sheets, and collaborate with HR/Payroll to resolve discrepancies while maintaining GAAP/CAS/FAR compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance and 4 years of professional-level accounting experience, including 2 years with government contracting.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and CAS; proficient with accounting systems and Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close functions including journal entries, ensuring GAAP/CAS/FAR compliance.
• Prepare detailed variance analyses for indirect departments with explanations.
• Support internal/external audits with schedules and financial statements.
• Develop 3-year plans, forecasts, and capital budgets for indirect departments; provide basis of estimates for DCAA.
