Job summary

Arch MI Services Inc. seeks an Accountant to support monthly close, analyze variances, and prepare regulatory and internal reports. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions and collaborate with departments to uphold accounting policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting with CPA in progress or completed, plus 1–3 years of related experience. Strong communication and ERP proficiency are essential, with benefits including robust 401(k) matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Ability to apply standard accounting practices and perform month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries for close.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and analyze variances for management.
• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reports and supporting audits.
• Provide analyses and support for internal and external auditors.
