Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting with private industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or multi-entity environment.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and prepare schedules.
• Experience with ERP systems and processing journal entries in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Organized and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration across accounting and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Perform reconciliations across balance sheet accounts (cash, AR, AP, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany).
• Assist with variance analysis by researching and explaining monthly fluctuations.
• Help standardize accounting processes and improve general ledger accuracy across entities.
• Prepare audit support documents and assist with external audits.
• Support inventory accounting activities including reconciliations, variance analysis, and physical counts.
• Document procedures and identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and business integration.
