Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large corporate or multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply principles to complex financial structures.
• Experience managing monthly close cycles in a multi-entity, multi-location organization.
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains) and corporate reporting tools (Adaptive Insights/Prophix).
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned components of the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Maintain and enhance ledger structures, subledger relationships, and Chart of Accounts alignment for reporting integrity.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies; prepare disclosures for internal/external reporting and tax.
• Act as liaison with external auditors; prepare audit support and coordinate requests.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners to validate results and support variance analysis; ensure data consistency across systems (Great Plains, Adaptive Planning).
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation.
• Participate in evaluating new accounting standards and apply guidance to complex transactions.
• Support corporate and business unit initiatives, including reorganizations, acquisitions, and system integrations.
• Mentor and support team members, reinforcing accounting best practices.
