Job summary

SpringPoint Technologies in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and support cash forecasting, budgeting, and close processes. You will prepare balance sheets, perform P&L analysis, input entries, handle payroll posting, and work with our CPA to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, processes, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger and Income Statement.
• Ability to interact with and improve financial systems through innovation and automation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• The ability and aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Profit and loss (P&L) analysis to understand financial performance.
• Manage and input bookkeeping entries.
• Post payroll timely.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain precise records.
• Produce weekly and monthly invoicing with accuracy.
• Collaborate with the COO to streamline financial operations.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and provide insights for decision-making.
• General cost accounting and related duties.
• Manage accounts receivable collections and maintain working capital.
• Ensure accurate payments and verify reasonableness.
• Reconcile accounts, close monthly/quarterly/yearly and report cash flow.
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly banking reporting.
