The role emphasizes month-end close, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, audit support, and financial analysis with cross-functional collaboration. You will maintain internal controls, assist with fixed assets, lease accounting, and accounts receivable, while supporting tax filings and 1099 reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, accounts receivable, and credit management.
• Japanese language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for auditors.
• Assist with preparation of tax filings and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate annual 1099 reporting and related compliance activities.
