Job summary

Home HT GmbH in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an experienced accountant to assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, including journal entries and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and 3-5 years of experience in accounting. Responsibilities include completing the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing treasury functions, and supporting budgeting processes. The salary range is US$85,000.00 - US$90,000.00 annually with eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in general ledger area.
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience in retail industry and dealing with ‘big box’ retailers a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain and distribution preferred.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions, including swaps.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the Company’s monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate and comply with GAAP.
• Administer company treasury functions as appropriate.
• Assist Controller and CFO with cash report and cash flow projection.
• Help maintain a sound internal control environment.
• File various government reports inclusive of Sales & Use Tax.
• Manage/report vendors/customers inclusive of commissions and reserves.
• Support accounting team with budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Assist in year-end audit schedules and coordination with external auditors.
