The AR Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by verifying and analyzing financial transactions. This role involves reconciling account balances, maintaining the general ledger, and managing month‑end close procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and experience collaborating with or managing accounting teams.

The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce accurate accounting reports and present financial results
• Analyze financial information and summarize overall financial status
• Identify errors and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control spending
• Provide technical support and guidance to management accountants
• Review and recommend updates to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Participate in financial standards development and forecasting
• Contribute to department goal-setting activities
• Prepare financial statements and assist with budget preparation
