NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our radiopharmaceutical manufacturing team. You will perform general accounting duties, ensure GAAP compliance, and support month-end close and audits in a fast-growing environment.

The role covers fixed assets, treasury, payroll, budgets, and ERP system enhancements, with opportunities for process improvements and career growth within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in GAAP principles.
• Experience with complex accounting issues.
• Experience with ASC implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Research and assess ASC implications. Support implementation of updated standards.
• Prepare technical memos that document accounting issues clearly and concisely.
• Review and reconcile subsidiary accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedule.
• Manage day-to-day treasury and cash planning.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial statements and budgets.
• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual reporting.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Assist with audits and tax returns.
• Assist with ERP system implementation and monitoring.
• Develop understanding of ERP system, COA, and reporting structure.
• Own month-end duties to meet close deadlines.
• Identify process improvements for automation.
• Own fixed asset schedule additions/disposals/depreciation.
