Sanford is seeking a Senior Accountant who provides timely GAAP-based reporting and analysis to support leadership on financial decisions. The role covers transactional accounting and multi-faceted financial analysis across entities, requiring accuracy, initiative and strong communication.

The candidate will maintain the general ledger, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements while staying current with professional standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related degree with an Accounting minor required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or other professional certification is desirable but not required.
• Must have at least two years of related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Routinely identifies and analyzes detailed financial issues while keeping a broad, enterprise-wide perspective.
• Must understand relationships between all subsidiaries and ensure integrity of financial information.
